I asked my photographer how to take great photos with my smartphone. He SERIOUSLY over-delivered!
Something not many people know about me is that I’m a massive foodie. My Dad was a chef and my Mum was a dietician; I grew up eating ridiculously good food and I love discovering culinary delights.
Something lots of people know about me is that I am a connector. If I find something I love, I tell everyone. I love sharing news, ideas and discoveries.
So when I’m digging into a delicious meal, I want to tell THE WORLD.
I’m sure you have moments you love to capture and share too: the funny things your children/cats/dogs do; business events; new products; a celebratory drink; those little moments that make it all worthwhile.
And what do we do at such times? We reach for our smartphones.
Taking great pictures is hard!
Unfortunately, my best attempts at smartphone photography leave my meals looking like dull, fuzzy soup bowls. The lighting is not right, the angle doesn’t do the dish justice…I end up fed up and frustrated. Sound familiar?
But the online world LOVES VISUALS. And smartphones have such fantastic cameras these days, I really should be able to take a great pic with minimal fuss.
How do you take amazing pictures with your smartphone?
David Addison of Prime Photographic is an expert photographer. I know this because he took my headshots and, as an honest 9-year-old told me recently: “Great photos, but you don’t look like that in real life.”
The pictures make me look a thousand times better. And they deliver the personality and brand look and feel I was hoping for.
So naturally, I turned to David with this frustration, knowing his advice would benefit you too.
And here’s what he did. He created A VIDEO that covers the three things critical to great smartphone photography:
All this in just 4 minutes. David seriously over-delivered! So here’s the video. Four minutes of easy to understand information. Our smartphone pics are about to get so much better!
